Lamaze, Bradley, Hypnobirthing Instructors
Although our instructors have been trained in one technique or another, each has been teaching long enough to have modified the techniques taught to meet the needs of her students. Each session ranges from 1-3 hours in length, depending upon your individual needs, are held in the comfort of your own home at mutually convenient times for everyone involved.
Anyone planning on attending and or participating in the birth is encouraged to attend the classes, which are usually 6-10 hours in total length. If you should have a preference for a particular type of training, an appropriate instructor will be patched with you.
Information offered is based upon years of education and experience, with both sides of each issue presented for discussion. Our instructors will be willing to consult with your physician on any issue of particular concern and will report to you your physician's own protocols, requirements or concerns as well. Your instructor will be available to answer questions in between sessions, maintaining a relationship that extends beyond the training period. The instructor may also consult with the doula before you go into labor, should you so desire.
